| Promotion system | - Feed-in tariff: The general laws on energy, LREM and LPRES, and the Support Scheme for Electricity Generation from Wind Energy, Solar Energy and Biomass introduced fixed feed-in tariff rates.
- Subsidies: Furthermore, Cyprus allocates grants to encourage the construction of renewable energy systems. The grant scheme applies to private households, non-profit organisations and private entities.
