Price regulation. Grid operators are statutorily obliged to purchase renewable-energy-sourced electricity and pay a guaranteed price (§ 13 (1) Act Nr. LXXXVI of 2007).

Basically, all renewable energy sources are eligible for subsidies.

Only systems within the territory of the Republic of Hungary are promoted.

In the end, the cost of the feed-in tariff is borne by the consumers.
